Does your child love Halloween? Do you need help making them look fantastically fun or ghoulish for Halloween night?
Modesty Hair Studio, located at 2430 Victoria Ave., has a devilishly fun offer for you.
For just $5, the employees at Modesty will be offering Halloween hair, makeup and nails for kids, starting at preschool age going all the way up to high school age. No appointment is needed.
The services will be running in a walk-in basis only, from open to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31, and for an extra fun time, the hair salon will be transformed into a Halloween night delight, complete with candlelight, misty fog, spooky sounds, gravestones on the salon floor and more.
"We are very excited. This is the first year we have done this and everybody has really good ideas," said Modesty Hair Studio owner Jen Pelletier.
"It will be pretty spooky and kids will be able to walk through the Halloween display."
The staff will be getting into the Halloween spirit themselves, dressing as a mob of ’80s zombies.

Bob’s Steakhouse and Lounge
Bob’s Steakhouse and Lounge, located in the old Parthenon Pizza/Boston Pizza location on 34th Street and Victoria Avenue, is closed until further notice. That’s what the sign posted on the restaurant’s locked door says.
The restaurant just opened in January, where it offered steak, pizza, burgers and more seven days a week.
Attempts to contact Bob Warden, owner of Bob’s Steakhouse, were unsuccessful.
Pizza Hut
We’ve seen them at fairs. They’re frequenters at barbecues and picnics. They look good in a bun, but we’ve also seen them in corn, on a stick and cut up in macaroni.
However, Pizza Hut, including our own location in Brandon, at 860 18th St., is baking hotdogs into the crusts of their pizza. Yes, that’s right. A hotdog stuffed crust at Pizza Hut.
According to a press release from Pizza Hut Inc. in Canada, the hotdog-stuffed crust phenomenon started in the U.K. and the company just had to bring it to Canada.
Available in sizes medium or large, with your choice of topping, the crust has Angus beef hotdogs stuffed inside. It’s the same price as Pizza Huts regular stuffed crust pizzas and comes with ketchup and mustard dips.
Try it soon! The hotdog stuffed pizza is only available until Nov. 25.

Rosann’s Silk Designs
I would like to apologize to Rosann’s Silk Designs for an error in the writeup that featured its Christmas Show last week.
The sentence should have read "also starting today is the famous Christmas Show by Rosann’s Silk Designs."
I apologize for any inconvenience this error may have caused.
