Tutti Fruiti, located at 839 18th St., has been hopping since it’s opening earlier this year and the new favourite spot of Brandonites is celebrating with a grand opening today.
Tutti Fruiti co-owner Cindy Demaer said that the reception she has received from customers has been overwhelming since Tutti Fruiti opened.
"It’s been just amazing," Demaer said. "Of all the businesses we’ve been involved with, this one is the most enjoyable. Everyone is happy. Everyone I ask how their yogurt is, they all say the same thing — everybody loves it."
Tutti Fruiti is offering some great specials for customers today. From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. customers will be able to purchase a 12 oz for only $2.50. Also each customer making a purchase will be entered to win a $100 gift certificate from Tutti Fruiti. There will be balloons for the kids and a chance at winning three extra $10 gift certificates with a guessing game. Three jars containing candy like gummy worms, gummy teeth and jelly beans will be on display. Customers who guess the right amount of candy in each of the jars could walk away with a $10 gift certificate.
Also there will be some special frozen yogurt flavours in the lineup for today, including the popular "birthday cake" flavour, "tutti fruiti" flavoured frozen yogurt and dairy free sorbet and sugar-free chocolate in addition to six other frozen yogurt flavours.
Those who can’t make it to Tutti Fruiti during the day will still get a break on their bill — $1 off any size Tutti Fruiti frozen yogurt from 7 p.m. to closing time.
Tutti Fruiti changes its flavours on a weekly basis. For an update on what flavours it has at any time, look for Tutti Fruiti Brandon on Facebook.

Original Joe’s
Another rumour I have to squash, sorry folks.
After announcing earlier this year that Original Joe’s was planning a major expansion in Winnipeg and farther into Canada and the United States, Brandon is not on that list.
FranWorks Group of Companies that owns Original Joe’s stated it has no plans to open a restaurant in the Wheat City.
