Editor's Notebook to return in January

I’ll keep this short and sweet.

I wasn’t entirely sure if and when Editor’s Notebook would return.

But apart from my regular handful of haters who wrung their hands in some kind of sinister glee over what appeared to be the column’s permanent demise, I have been overwhelmed with requests from readers to bring the weekly piece back.

So I will. Some other projects have to be dealt with first and I also want to make sure I return with some fresh ideas and a sharpened perspective.

I figure Jan. 5 will be a good time to bring the column back. It will be shorter and likely only on one topic, as its creation can be a time vampire.

Thanks to all who have expressed a desire to see the column return.
