I thought I had heard it all regarding discrimination but this takes on a different tone, especially at Christmas time.
It has come to my attention that individuals who live in Winnipeg House have been turned down for dental treatment and others have also been turned down for the Christmas Bus Tour of Lights because of where they live.
This is all in regards to the bedbug issue and while I understand it in principle, I can hardly believe it in fact.
For many people, this time of year is a low period and to receive such a reaction is hurtful at least and humiliation at worst.
Just remember, this could happen to any of us.
