With regards to the recent letter entitled “Science Doesn’t Disprove Intelligent Design,” I note the letter writer may not be aware of this, but science doesn’t have to disprove intelligent design. That is because there is not a single solitary scientific piece of evidence published in any accredited science journal anywhere that supports the existence of the intelligent design movement’s “magical designer.”
Since ID has no testable, quantifiable, non-supernatural experiments, laws, data or support from any of the scientific fields, it remains what it is, a religious attempt to masquerade as science, misinform and miseducate students about the natural world and science, and damage the logical thought skills of children. ID is religion, and not very good religion according to the Vatican, the Lutheran Church, the Episcopalians, Presbyterians and the Methodist church.
