Re: “Province To Create New ‘Green’ Legislation,” (Brandon Sun Online, June 15).
My question concerns “Mobilizing Manitobans to work together to protect the environment while ensuring a prosperous and environmentally conscious economy.”
Who will be the final judge on these principles? From past history and examples, the Manitoba government’s priorities have always circumvented what they want us to believe.
Bucko Lake, peat mining, logging roads through provincial parks, etc.
Nice words premier, but the record shows a different story. Mean what you say, or don’t say it.
Many and most Manitobans will and do work together to protect the environment.
But more often than not their biggest roadblock in achieving any success is the government itself.
