This quilt was dropped off as a donation to the Daly House over the holidays. There was no note attached and now museum officials are trying to find out who donated it.

Daly House Museum would dearly love to solve the mystery behind a quilt that was dropped off at the museum over the holidays.

Someone donated the quilt when the museum was closed and left it on the porch without any note. The quilt is dated 1924 and bears the names of some prominent Brandon citizens of that time period.

"There may be a good story behind the creation of the quilt, and we’d love to hear it," curator Eileen Trott said.

She adds that museum pieces are most valuable when their origin and significance can be determined.

If you can solve the mystery of this quilt, please contact Eileen at 204-727-1722.
