Thanks for contributing to fundraiser

The Dock on Princess would humbly like to thank its staff for the tremendous effort put forward during our Give up the Green campaign in support of the pediatric unit and neonatal care unit at the BRHC. Our partnership with the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation raised more than $5,600.

It was such a joy to see our staff respond to the challenge with excitement and enthusiasm. Many of our staff took it upon themselves to take four-leaf clovers to their other workplaces and raise funds there. And the most heart-warming gesture was to see our staff volunteer to give up their tips for two evenings and donate all of the funds to the campaign.

Many of our staff are college or university students who work very hard for the money they earn and to see this kind of generosity, warmed not only my heart but many of the guests who attended those two evenings. We’re truly fortunate to have the kind of team we have at The Dock and a big cheers goes out to our staff for their contributions to this campaign!

And lastly, but certainly not least, a huge thank you to all of our patrons who “gave up their green” and donated to the campaign. It was great to see so many people get on board and it was truly magical to watch our establishment transform more and more each day with the names of donors on the four-leaf clovers decorating the walls.

Those small contributions from so many people will go a long way in helping the BRHC Foundation provide value-added tools and resources to the pediatrics unit at the hospital.
