How much sweetening do you need?
To the lady in McDonald’s on Nov 26. We saw you empty the Splenda into a take-out bag to the tune of five handfuls! In my book, that is stealing, theft, shoplifting, any way you look it. They know who you are — we made sure of that.
Stop the command start of your radio
To those of you with “command start” for your vehicle, please ensure that your radio is turned down before starting your vehicle. I love music but not yours at 6 a.m.
Time for a tune-up
Regarding the Letter to the Editor of Dec. 3, “Province’s Arsenic Attitude Seems Strangely Cavalier.” It would be nice if the Manitoba government paid more attention to the perils of toxic substances instead of just issuing warnings to the public. Their cavalier recognition and dealing with arsenic requires a serious tune-up.
Positive feedback for STARS
I am deeply disappointed to see all the negative publicity towards STARS ambulance. I am a family member who saw what a benefit transporting via air rather than our construction-filled roads was to the patient with a fractured neck — both timewise and smoothness. Thank you, STARS.
Kept my eye on the big picture
In this election I remained Conservative because I kept the big picture in mind. I did not switch because of a few so-called distasteful pamphlets, nor because I wanted to send a message to Ottawa ... nor because I disapproved of the Senate ... nor because some well-known, attractive leader came to visit our town more than once. Like I said, I kept the big picture in mind ... the economy! Under the Conservative leadership Canada is one of the enviable countries in the world. Let’s keep it that way.
