Thinking outside the box
It’s a streak that Colby Robak seems partly proud of and partly embarrassed by.
The Brandon Wheat Kings defenceman has been the Western Hockey League’s Mr. Clean so far, going through 25 games this season without taking a single penalty.
Robak’s streak (a hooking minor mistakenly credited to him on the league’s website in Wednesday’s 5-4 win over Medicine Hat was actually called against teammate Brodie Melnychuk) makes him the only skater in the WHL to have played at least 20 games this season without visiting the sin bin.
