Stephanie Adams was perfect on Sunday.

The 18-year-old local 10-pin bowling standout from Souris rolled her first perfect 300 game while competing for William Penn University in NAIA Midwest Collegiate Conference bowling action in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Adams, a product of Brandon’s Thunderbird Bowl who earned a scholarship to William Penn in Oskaloosa, Iowa, qualified first in a field of 41 female bowlers at the GISBT event with an average of 226 to capture her first tournament title in college.

Adams, whose previous best in her seven tournaments so far was a fifth-place finish at the Midland Classic earlier this season, has helped William Penn move up to 18th in the national rankings.
