Francis Alarie scored two goals and Jeremy Pominville stopped all 24 shots he faced as the Dauphin Kings shut out the Selkirk Steelers 4-0 in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League on Wednesday night.
Jesse Sinatynski and Brandonite Mitch Van Teeling added two assists apiece for the league-leading Kings (36-11-2). Selkirk slipped to 24-22-5.
In Wednesday’s other MJHL games, it was: OCN Blizzard 4, Virden Oil Capitals 3 (OT); and Steinbach Pistons 10, Neepawa Natives 5.

At The Pas, Tyler Grove scored the winner 14 seconds into OT and added two assists for OCN (33-14-4). Brandonite Cody Nelson had one of the goals for Virden (16-29-7).

At Steinbach, Dan Taillefer had a goal and three assists to lead the Pistons (26-20-3), while Derrick Brooks and Landon Thompson replied with two goals apiece for Neepawa (12-31-5).
