Barclay female athlete of the week

Brandon’s Lisa Barclay added another award to her list of accomplishments on Wednesday.

One day after being named Canada West female athlete of the week, Barclay was named CIS female athlete of the week yesterday for her MVP performance in leading the UBC Thunderbirds to their sixth straight national women’s volleyball title. The 6-foot-2 outside hitter, who was named a first-team all-Canadian last week, amassed 43 kills in UBC’s three victories at nationals.
