NHL jerseys from Jordin Tootoo, Martin Brodeur and Zach Bogosian proved a big hit at the Brandon Wheat Kings CKLQ Sportsman’s Dinner, headlined by Hockey Hall of Famer Marcel Dionne, on Thursday night.
Tootoo, a former fan favourite with the Wheat Kings, donated an autographed Detroit Red Wings jersey that was auctioned off for $1,075 to Fowler Hyundai, while Brodeur’s New Jersey Devils jersey went for $900 to Community Futures Westman. Meanwhile, a Winnipeg Jets package that featured an autographed Bogosian jersey, hotel accommodations and tickets for two to a Jets game went to Crane Steel Structures for $1,550.
