Brayden Billaney scored three goals to lead the Southwest Cougars to a 5-1 victory over the Central Plains Capitals in Winnipeg AAA Bantam Hockey League action in Wawanesa on Monday night.
Kyle Elliot and Tristen Cross also scored goals for Southwest, while goaltender Dane Fortin made 24 saves to earn the win between the pipes.
Nathan Wall replied with the lone goal for Central Plains, which was out-shot 30-25.
