The Saskatoon Blades acquired 20-year-old forward Adam Kambeitz from the Red Deer Rebels on Monday in exchange for 17-year-old forward Christian Stockl and a third-round pick in the 2014 WHL bantam draft.
The deal allowed the Rebels to get down to the WHL limit of three 20-year-olds before Thursday’s overage deadline, while the Blades now have four.
