The Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s top team proved too much for the Waywayseecappo Wolverines on Wednesday night.
Justin McDonald earned his third shutout of the season as the OCN Blizzard blanked the Wolverines 3-0.
In last night’s other MJHL game, it was: Selkirk Steelers 6, Neepawa Natives 3.
At The Pas, Nathan Bruyere, Mathew Cameron and Wilson Dumais scored as the Blizzard improved their league-best record to 12-3-1. The Wolverines fell to 5-7-2.

At Neepawa, Erik Pushka had a goal and two assists for the Steelers (5-7-1), while teammate Joel Messner dished out three assists. Lyndon Soper of Gladstone, Landon Thompson of MacGregor and Derrick Brooks scored the goals for the Natives (5-8-1), who held 1-0 and 2-1 leads before the Steelers took over.
