The Dauphin Kings fired 59 shots at the OCN net, but fell 3-2 to the Blizzard on Tuesday night in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
In Tuesday’s other MJHL game, the Portage Terriers beat the Winkler Flyers 6-4.
At Dauphin, Justin McDonald made 57 saves, while Mathew Cameron netted the winner for the Blizzard (8-1-0). Blake Kirkham and Guillaume Naud scored for the Kings (3-3-0).

At Portage la Prairie, Zack Waldvogel scored twice to lead the Terriers (5-1-1). Justin Faux had two goals, while Brandonite Tanner Jago added a goal and an assist for the Flyers (2-4-2).
Olson wins MJHL award
Richard Olson, a 20-year-old forward with the Virden Oil Capitals, had two goals and two assists in two games and was named the MJHL player of the week.
Runners-up for the award were 20-year-old defenceman David Haaf of the Waywayseecappo Wolverines and 20-year-old netminder Corey Koop of the Neepawa Natives.
