The Brandon University Bobcats men’s basketball team returns to the court this week in Winnipeg.
The Bobcats will take part in the annual Wesmen Classic tournament at the University of Winnipeg’s Duckworth Centre, starting Friday when Brandon battles the Dickinson (N.D.) State Blue Hawks at
2 p.m.
Also taking part in the tournament are the host Wesmen, Mayville State Comets, Mount Royal Cougars, University of Northern B.C. Timberwolves, Lakehead Thunderwolves and the Keyano (Alta.) College Huskies.
The tournament continues through to Sunday’s final at
8 p.m.
Brandon currently sports a
2-8 record in the Canada West conference, with all four Bobcat teams slated to resume league play on Jan. 11.
