The Bobcats then fell 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 26-24) to the host Mount Royal Cougars last night. McCharles had nine kills and two digs. Tuivai added seven kills and five digs.

"We’re just trying to rest some guys. Some guys are nursing some injuries and with the departure of Rob (McLean) and Randy (Preval), we’re trying to figure out some different roles for different guys when certain things are needed," BU head coach Grant Wilson said. "Overall we’re pretty pleased with how the weekend has been."
Brandon, which sits in third place in Canada West with a 9-3 record, is now 2-1 in the tournament and wraps up the round-robin affair today against the Dalhousie Tigers.
