Bosiak big for Clippers

Brant Bosiak hauled in six passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns as the Dauphin Clippers edged the Neepawa Tigers 32-29 in Rural Manitoba Football League play on Friday at Dauphin.

Matt Kish was 14-for-23 passing for 282 yards and two touchdowns for Dauphin (3-0), while Logan Thacker made 12 tackles, one which resulted in a safety touch, and a forced fumble in the nine-man high school league contest.

Jason Caines caught three passes from Brendan Cowan for 113 yards and two touchdowns for Neepawa (1-2). Cowan passed for 158 yards and rushed for 101 more and a touchdown.

In Friday’s other game, it was: Virden Golden Bears 46, Parkwest Outlaws 16; and Swan Valley Tigers 32, East Parkland Warriors 6.

At Shoal Lake, Logan Roach was 6-for-13 passing for 134 yards and two touchdowns for Virden (1-2). He also rushed for two touchdowns. Carrigan George caught two passes for 85 yards and had six rushes for 70 yards, scoring a touchdown on the ground and through the air.

Alex Waubdy led Parkwest (0-3) with 117 rushing yards. Reggie Waddell connected with Shawn Hunter for a passing touchdown.

Tigers 32 Warriors 6

At Swan River, the Tigers improved to 1-2 on the season while the Warriors dropped to 1-2. Stats were unavailable from source.
