Shawn Bowles scored two goals and set up another to lead the Yellowhead Chiefs back into first place in the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League’s West Division standings with a 5-4 win over the Parkland Rangers on Wednesday night in Dauphin.
Taylor Sanheim added two goals, while Tanner Koroscil scored the other goal for Yellowhead (25-9-2). Bradley Bowles chipped in with three assists for the Chiefs, while Matthew Short made 26 saves to preserve the win. McCreary product Reigan Buchanan had one goal and one assist for the Rangers (5-29-0).
