Eight Brandonites have been invited to play in the Graduating High School All-Star Volleyball matches in Winnipeg on Saturday.

The Vincent Massey Vikings will be represented by middle Kelsey Pettinger, outside hitter Carmen Hutsal and outside hitter Tristan Neudorf at the AAAA girls match, along with middle Stephanie Hunter and libero Abbi Robinson from Crocus Plains. Daven Pascal, a middle from Vincent Massey, is the lone Brandonite to be named to the AAAA boys match, although Jared Friesen, a Viking outside hitter, received an honourable mention.

The Neelin Spartans are sending a pair of players — setter Jordan Laroque and outside hitter Theo Farough — to the A-AA-AAA boys all-star match. They’ll be joined by 11 other varsity boys players from Westman, while 10 players from the region will be playing in the A-AA-AAA girls all-star match.

For the full list of Westman players, see Page B4.
