A pair of Brandonites have been named the most valuable players in the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference in men’s and women’s soccer.
Vincent Massey Vikings graduate Norvin Campos of the Providence University College Freemen, who was the conference’s leading scorer, was named the men’s soccer MVP.
Meanwhile, Neelin Spartans graduate Kate Osadchuk of the Providence Lady Freemen was selected as the women’s soccer MVP after scoring once in the MCAC final.
Providence swept both league titles on the weekend, with the men beating the University of St. Boniface 4-0 and the Providence women edging Red River College 2-1.
