Ashleigh Brykaliuk netted a hat trick to lift the Westman Wildcats to a 7-4 victory over the NorMan Wild in a Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League contest on Sunday at The Pas.
Karissa Kirkup and Jaycee Magwood chipped in with two goals apiece for the Hartney-based Wildcats (17-5-1).
On Saturday, Magwood and Kirkup both scored twice as the Wildcats beat the Wild 6-1. Brykaliuk and Kaitlyn Crowe had the other Westman goals.
Meanwhile, the Yellowhead Chiefs (7-13-4) split their games over the weekend. Tashel Scantlebury scored a pair of goals as they beat the host Winnipeg Ice 3-0 on Sunday. Mackenzie Bortis netted the other marker.
On Saturday, the Chiefs fell 3-0 to the Winnipeg Avros in Winnipeg.
