The Brandon University Bobcats will be hosting a series high-performance training sessions for female basketball players this winter.
There will be 16 two-hour training sessions for girls 13 to 17 years old from October through April that features instruction from Canadian Interuniversity Sport coaches and athletes.
The sessions will focus on skill development and team play with lessons in strength and conditioning, nutrition and sports psychology.
The first session, which will be an open house, is set for Oct. 28 at the Healthy Living Centre.
Any interested participants will have the opportunity to get more information on the program and ask questions of the coaches and instructors at the open house.
