Chloe Reimer (11) and the Bobcats women’s volleyball team are now ranked 11th in CIS.
The Brandon University Bobcats men’s volleyball team remains the lone BU squad to crack the CIS national rankings.
The Bobcats (3-1) slipped from sixth to seventh in this week’s top 10 after splitting a Canada West conference weekend series with the Thompson Rivers WolfPack at BU’s new Healthy Living Centre. The Bobcats are back on home court this weekend when they face the unbeaten Manitoba Bisons (3-0), who are tied for third in the rankings with the McMaster Marauders.
Meanwhile, the Bobcats women’s volleyball team is slowly working its way into the picture, now sitting ranked 11th in the country after completing a sweep of the WolfPack. The Bobcats will face a tough test this weekend when they face the fourth-ranked Bisons (3-0) at the HLC.
Brandon’s men’s and women’s basketball teams — both 0-2 on the season — did not make the rankings and didn’t receive any top 10 votes this week.
