3-2 in a North Central Hockey League playoff game on Sunday.
Brandin Wilkinson and Kurtis Callander scored for the Rockets, who trail the best-of-five semifinal 2-0 and need a win Friday in Elkhorn (at 8:30 p.m.) to avoid elimination.
In the other semifinal, Luke Stokotelny had a goal and two assists as the Grandview Comets opened their series with a 7-0 victory over the visiting McCreary Mustangs. Jerron Kyle and Ian Brezden added a goal and an assist each, while Connor Shaw earned the shutout for the Comets.
Game 2 is set for Friday in McCreary (8:30 p.m.).
