Devrin Stonehouse of the Miniota/Elkhorn C-Hawks has been named the North Central Hockey League’s most valuable player.
Stonehouse finished eighth in league scoring with 43 points in 18 games, including 11 goals. Steegan Stoski of the Grandview Comets led the league in scoring with 69 points in 19 games, including 34 goals. Rick Scott of the McCreary Mustangs, who finished sixth in the league with 45 points while recoding only six minutes in penalties, was named the league’s most sportsmanlike player.
