Campos the big man on campus

Brandon’s Norvin Campos has been named the male athlete of the week in the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference.

The 5-foot-7 third-year forward, a graduate of the Vincent Massey Vikings, leads the league in goals with four while playing in only two games for the Providence Freemen men’s soccer team. Campos, originally from El Salvador, has helped the Freemen to a 3-0-1 first-place record.

“Norvin has been our hardest working player,” stated coach Martin Ward in a news release. “His speed and dribbling ability make him very difficult for opponents to contain.”
