Canada will take on Sweden on Friday in the semifinals at the women’s under-18 world hockey championship in Finland.
The Canadians, featuring Neepawa’s Halli Krzyzaniak, Brandonite Ashleigh Brykaliuk and Cassidy Carels of Bruxelles, enter the game with a 3-0 record in the championship, while the Swedes are 2-1-1 after their 4-0 quarter-final victory over Hungary on Wednesday.
