Caps' short-handed goal sinks Cougars

Aaron Dupasquier’s short-handed goal with 8:09 left in the third period lifted the Central Plains Capitals to a 3-2 victory over the Southwest Cougars in Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League action on Wednesday night in Portage.

Kelsen McLean and Scott Wiebe also scored for the Capitals (4-5-1), while Mitch Lyall and Michael Fortin — on an assist from Lyall — replied for the Cougars (6-4-1).
