The Boissevain Centennials swept their South West Baseball League double-header with the Melita Beavers on Friday night, topping the visitors 3-0 and 15-1.
In Friday’s other game, it was Souris Cardinals 3, Deloraine Royals 2.
At Boissevain, Zac Hicks went 2-for-3 with a run scored and Jay Pringle struck out 10 and allowed just one hit in five innings of work to collect the win in the Centennials’ 3-0 victory.
Hicks then scored twice and drove in two more runs in their 15-1 rout. Russ Sisson earned the win on the mound after scattering four hits in five innings.

At Souris, Andrew Hamilton scored twice, while Brock Anderson drove in a pair of runs and went the distance on the mound for Souris, which won in an extra inning. Marc Edwards scored a run and took the loss for Deloraine.
