The Dauphin Clippers and Southwest Sabres will meet for the Rural Manitoba Football League title.
The Clippers, who have rolled through an undefeated season so far, knocked off the visiting Moosomin Generals 56-25 in the semifinals on Saturday. Chace MacDonald rushed for a pair of touchdowns and caught a 41-yard pass for a score for Dauphin. Matt Kish passed and rushed for one major each, while Michael Pawlett had a 56-yard interception return for a touchdown.
In the other semifinal, the Southwest Sabres edged the Neepawa Tigers 22-21 in Souris.
Brenden Cowan had two touchdowns for the Tigers, who got their other touchdown from Cody Pasowisty. Jason Caines had five tackles and two interceptions for Neepawa.
In the Murray Black Cup (B-side) semifinals, the East Parkland Warriors blasted the Parkwest Outlaws 67-6, while the Swan Valley Tigers topped the Virden Golden Bears 35-6.
Triston Turner scored the Golden Bears’ TD on a kick return and led the defence with 10 tackles and five assists.
