Chase MacDonald returned punts 72 and 65 yards for touchdowns as the Dauphin Clippers beat the East Parkland Warriors 36-0 in the Rural Manitoba Football League on Friday night in Ste. Rose du Lac.
Riley McKnight added 90 rushing yards, including a 47-yard run for a score, and Jacob Thacker added an eight-yard jaunt for the Clippers in the nine-man high school contest. Matthew Kish completed one pass for Dauphin, and it went to Travis Dumas-Weigelt, who scored on the 37-yard connection.
Tiger Haire had seven tackles and an interception, while Brett Mosionier added 11 tackles, forced a fumble and recovered one for Dauphin (6-0). The Warriors dropped to 2-4.
Meanwhile at Neepawa, the host Tigers (4-2) got a pair of touchdown runs from Brenden Cowan as they earned a 14-6 win over the Swan Valley Tigers (1-5).
Cowan, who scored from 105 and 57 yards out, finished the game with 190 yards. Ashton Penner added 10 tackles for Neepawa.
