Concussion awareness game this weekend

A Ryan White Montreal Canadiens’ game-worn jersey will be one of the prizes up for grabs at “Be a Pro Concussion Awareness Night” at Westman Place on Sunday night.

Organizers are hoping to pack the place to watch a Hockey Brandon peewee game between the Brandon Canadiens and the Souris Elks (free admission) at 6 p.m., with prizes and concussion awareness segments throughout the game.

In addition to the White jersey, Sidney Crosby and Wayne Gretzky autographed pictures will also be among the prizes, while one lucky team will go home with a custom sports figure by Sholi2000 for each player on the team. Hundreds of free hockey packs will also be given out to fans during the game.
