Skate Brandon’s Wheat City ConnXion placed 11th at the national synchronized skating championship in Calgary on the weekend.
The open division squad, with skaters aged 17 to 45, finished 11th in both of its free programs, scoring 36.82 and 39.32 points. Their score was two points better than Regina, which beat the ConnXion in the Prairie Regionals in Tisdale, Sask., earlier this month.
