Colt Conrad of St. Alphonse has been named the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League’s WHL Offensive Player of the Month for December.
The 15-year-old Pembina Valley Hawks forward scored nine goals and added 11 assists in eight games. Tyler Coulter of the Brandon Wheat Kings was one of the runners-up.
Meanwhile, Cory Reid of the NorMan Northstars was named MNP Defensive Player of the Month, while Brandon Beaulieu of the Kenora Thistles was chosen Century 21 Goaltender of the Month. Justin Holder of the Wheat Kings was a runner-up for the goalie award.
