Constant too much for Wayway

T.J. Constant scored a pair of goals and Kolton Baptiste, Tyler Grove and Nathan Bruyere added singles as the OCN Blizzard beat the Waywayseecappo Wolverines 5-2 in a Manitoba Junior Hockey League game on Wednesday night in The Pas.

Cody Koskimaki and Jean-Michel Naud replied for the Wolverines (0-2-1). Ralph Cochrane had two helpers for the Blizzard (3-0-0), which got a 38-save performance from Alex Henry. Cory Simons stopped 40 shots for Wayway.

On Tuesday, the Wolverines acquired 19-year-old defenceman Rory Futz from the Selkirk Steelers for future considerations. Futz had one goal and four assists in 19 games with the Western States Hockey League’s Boulder Bison last season.
