Cross-country provincials slated

Twelve hundred students are expected to take part in the provincial high school cross-country running championships on Wednesday at Spruce Woods Provincial Park.

The races will take place on the Epinette Creek Trail, with competition in AAAA and A-AA-AAA divisions. Varsity boys and JV boys will run 5,000 metres, while the varsity girls and JV girls course is 3,000m. Races begin at noon.
