Eagles' Onyshko finishes in top 10 in Montreal

Minnedosa’s Isabela Onyshko had a solid showing at the annual Gymnix Invitational meet in Montreal on the weekend.

Competing against gymnasts from across the country in the Challenge Cup division’s senior category even though she is only of junior age, the 14-year-old member of the Brandon Eagles Gymnastics club placed 10th all-around, including a 10th-place finish in the balance beam final.

Onyshko will compete in the provincial gymnastics championships in Winnipeg on April 13-14, with the nationals scheduled for Ottawa from May 20-25.
