Rebecca Early of the Treherne Tigers has earned the nod as the provincial Tri-Star rural high school athlete of the week.

The 6-foot-0 post player led her team with 28 points, 13 rebounds and five assists in a key Zone 6 victory over the Glenboro Panthers last week in varsity girls basketball action. The Grade 12 student, who sports an academic average of 84 per cent, also competes in volleyball, fastball, curling, cross-country running and track and field for Treherne.
