Ty Edmonds has had a solid start on the ice, but it’s his off-ice work in the community that has earned the Virden Oil Capitals goaltender the nod as the Manitoba Pork Peak Performer of the Month for October.
Edmonds, a 16-year-old rookie who has posted a 1-1 record with an .893 save percentage this season, has been spending his little free time working with goaltenders in the Virden minor hockey program.
