Kelly Marnoch and Curtis McCannell will go head-to-head next week for the sixth and final playoff spot in the Brandon Sun Westman Super League of Curling.
Marnoch’s Carberry crew jumped out to an early 4-1 lead on their way to a 5-3 victory over Perry Fisher of Wawanesa in one of two tiebreaker games played on Wednesday night at the Brandon Curling club. In the other matchup, McCannell’s Pilot Mound foursome scored two in the eighth end to brush by Brandon’s Kelly Skinner 5-4 to earn their spot in next week’s third and final tiebreaker. That game is scheduled to be played on Wednesday at the Brandon club at 8:30 p.m.
