Flyers trade Brandon's Butler to Dryden

The Winkler Flyers have traded Brandonite Michael Butler out of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

The Flyers sent the 20-year-old defenceman to the Dryden Ice Dogs of Ontario’s Superior International Junior Hockey League for future considerations. Butler had three assists and eight penalty minutes in 11 games for Winkler this season.

In another MJHL move, the Portage Terriers sent forward Matt Glowa, 20, and the list rights to defenceman Dylan Hiebert, 17, to the Selkirk Steelers for forward Regan Stire, 19, the list rights to forward Billy Exell, 17, and future considerations. Glowa had four goals and eight points in 12 games with the Terriers, while Stire had two goals and five points.

The Swan Valley Stampeders also made a trade, sending forward Bo Allan Clinton, 19, to the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Flin Flon Bombers for defenceman Keaton White, 19, and futures.
