Four in a row for BU men

The Brandon University Bobcats men’s basketball team came to life in the second half on Friday night at the Healthy Living Centre.

Brandon went into halftime down 41-36, but came out of the locker room fired up as they put up 55 points in the second half to beat the Manitoba Bisons 91-73. It’s the fourth straight Canada West victory for the Bobcats (5-8).

Emerick Ravier led a balanced Brandon attack with 19 points, while Turell Scott wasn’t far behind with 18. Ilarion Bonhomme and Kenonte Ramsey chipped in with 16 apiece and Ali-Mounir Benabdelhak added 14 points.

Andre Arruda led the Bisons (1-12) with 19 points, with Justus Alleyn adding 14.

Brandon and Manitoba will play against tonight at 7 o’clock at the Healthy Living Centre.
