Rob Fowler got off to a hot start at the National Grand Slam of Curling yesterday in Port Hawkesbury, N.S.
Fowler (2-0) made short work of Ontario’s John Epping in his second game of the day, stealing four in the fifth end to seal the 9-3 victory. Earlier, Fowler ran Greg Balsdon and his Toronto team out of rocks en route to a 6-4 win.
