Fury into Round 2

The Westman FC Fury under-16 boys team has advanced to the second round of the playoffs in the Winnipeg Youth Soccer League.

Westman FC beat Winnipeg South End United 6-2 on Saturday at Vincent Massey High School before falling 6-2 to Winnipeg FC North West on Sunday to close out the three-game round-robin playoff round. The Fury now begin the knockout round of the playoffs this Sunday in Winnipeg.

On Saturday, Marcus Krinke and Jamil Tahhan both scored twice, while Juan Aguierre and Danny Pedraza added singles, with Tahhan scoring both goals in Sunday’s loss.
