Galbraith scores for Man/Sask

Minnedosa’s Jason Galbraith scored a try to help the Manitoba/Saskatchewan under-19 boys rugby team edge the Alberta under-19 team 30-28 in Edmonton on Sunday.

Dan Burgess and Thomas Roche of Minnedosa and Corey Elliott of Pipestone also played for the Man/Sask team in the exhibition game, which was part of the selection process for the Prairie Wolf Pack U19 team that will be made up of players from all three provinces.

Cuts will now be made for the final phase of the program to select the team that will represent Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta in the Canadian Rugby Championships in Edmonton from July 11-15.
