Brandon’s Cassie Hawrysh concluded the first half of the World Cup skeleton season with her worst finish so far.
Hawrysh, a 28-year-old tour rookie, finished in 13th place at the La Plagne course in France on Saturday with a time of two minutes 10.06 seconds. She now sits eighth in the World Cup rankings.
American Katie Uhlaender finished in first place in 2:08.22, 49-100ths of a second ahead of Calgary’s Sarah Reid.
